The new Mr and Mrs Eduardo Flores!!

On January 2nd we had the pleasure of attending Tracy and Eduardo's wedding at Pioneer Hall. It was lovely and just the perfect setting, we had a great time spending time with family and celebrating with Mr and Mrs Flores! Maia was the cutest flowergirl and Edison and Cullen both looked adorable dressed up in their fancy clothes (unfortunately I didn't take many pics, but i'm sure the official pictures will follow when Tracy and Eduardo get back from their honeymoon). It was such a sweet wedding and we couldn't be happier for Tracy and Eduardo - welcome to the crazy family Eduardo (and good luck!).

Comparing preganant bellies (I think Anna wins, but in her defense Alison is not due until June)

Christmas festivities

I have to tell you we had the most, lovely, relaxing Christmas this year. We didn't really do very much, we just spent lots of time at home, watching movies, relaxing and I can't think of a better way to have spent the Holiday season. We also got terribly spoiled by Father Christmas - I even got a new Ipod (although I was assured that this would not be happening), add to that my dalek shaped bubble bath (thanks Dad) and I was all set! We also spent a lot of time with Anna's family, which was very nice, and spent a very snug Christmas Eve at home with Anna's family singing carols (aside from me - I don't really go in for the singing thing) and reading the Christmas story by the fire. Anywho here's a short video of our cozy Christmas Eve (please note how talented my wife is, she doesn't even need music!). All in all Christmas was just perfect and a wonderful break.

Catching up with friends

We have had a great time these past couple of months catching up with lots of friends that either live out of state or that we haven't seen in absolutely forever (thanks Facebook!). It has been great to catch up with our friends and hear what everyone is up to - we have the coolest friends!

Anyway above is a picture of us hanging out with Meg, Taylor, Mike, Nora and Jenni
(Evan - Jenni and Mike's little boy was napping)

Snow, snow and some very large icicles

One thing that I love about Utah is that you are pretty much guaranteed a white Christmas, on the other hand one thing I hate about Utah is that however lovely a white Christmas is, shoveling snow is never fun - and let me tell you I have had plenty of opportunities this year to find the fun in snow shoveling and have yet to find any. Anyway one happy side effect of all the snow are the absolutely freaking awesome icicles that we get on our house. They were so huge, Anna made me knock them down with a broom so that Georgie wouldn't accidentally get stabbed by one (she saw this clip of a TV show where that happened). Before I knocked them down however, I took some pics and here they are!!

December Round Up!

Once again we have been slacking with updating our blog (much to the dismay of my Mum) but one of my New Year's resolutions is to do a better job about posting, especially considering that our little girl will be along soon and we'll surely have lots of cute pics to share. Anyway - so December was a pretty busy month for us, well that's how it seemed anyway, but now I come to blog about it I can't really remember what we did!
Life is good right now and we are super excited that our baby will be born next month and that we have a whole bunch of new exciting adventures before us! I'll stop rambling and get on with the posts.
