Miss Poppy was officially 7 months old on the 11th, and she has a new tooth to show for it. After some crankiness, runny noses and waking up extremely early, there is one tiny little tooth emerging. Can't wait for the others to come through.Paul and I decided to pull out the few baby pictures that we have here at home to see if Poppy is starting to really look like one of us, and my suspicions were correct: Poppy looks a lot like her daddy. Below are a few pictures of the two of us as babies (well, one of me and a few of Paul), and when we looked at the photos of Paul, we both had a good laugh, because they really do look alike! Poppy probably has my eyes, but aside from that, she is all Paul, down to the drooly mouth (see the picture of Paul with his brother Adam), and the big head (according to the pediatrician, ha ha)!
On the 24th, we are expecting another visit from Nannie Sue, who is very excited to see Poppy, because last time she was here, she was just a little lump (Poppy, that is, not Nannie Sue!) It's amazing to compare how she is now with how she was as a little 2-month-old! She has turned into a smiley, happy, playful little girl and we just love her more and more every day.
